A native of the Atlantic City area, Tony studied liberal arts at Temple University in Philadelphia. In 1995, he joined the renowned firm of Jed Johnson & Associates, and it was here that he quickly gained a comprehensive knowledge of the design process, learning color composition, furniture styles and periods, scale and space planning from leading designers in the industry then and now. Under their tutelage, he honed and fine-tuned his interior design skills and flourished in the firm.
In 1998, Tony moved on to his next position as Project Manager with William Green & Associates, a small Flatiron based architecture firm, which provided him with a master class in architecture during his time there. This would play a key role in his next position.
In 2003, he went to work for Eric Cohler Design as a Project Manager where he was able to combine and apply the design and architecture skills he had learned at his former positions. He was promoted to Senior Managing Director in 2006, where he remained until starting the firm bearing his name in 2019.
Tony Klein's interiors are influenced by architectural precedents, geographical location and most importantly, through client collaboration. The results produce consistently comfortable, sophisticated and restrained interiors, while using the highest quality materials and artisans to enhance his vision. His practical nature and determined approach assure continuity and steady progress throughout the designer client collaborative process.
